Pelly Extrusos de Maiz
Taste test: These cheese puff-like snacks from Cuba were light yellow and very small, as they were both narrow in diameter and not very long, just slighty longer than if each had been created from two mini-cheese balls.
The shapes were fairly consistent. The surprising thing was that they didn't seem to contain much cheese or possibly any at all. The dominant flavor was actually garlic. The ingredients didn't list cheese but did list a mysterious "authorized flavour." Our tasters found that they had a good crisp feel and tasted good, though they were garlicy enough that most people didn't return to the bag for many more.
