Taste test: These quarter-circle tortilla chips were large, bubbly and somewhat wiggly, with a golden beige color — a very nice appearance.
We crunched in to find a good crispness and a light crunch, with just a very slight corn flavor, so the taste was on the bland side. The salt level was extremely low, and it just seemed to be too low to bring much flavor out of the corn, even after eating a few chips in a row. We would highly recommend dipping them in something, or even better, given the large shape, using as the base for some loaded nachos. Not enough flavor to stand on their own.
Smell test: Nice strong corn smell.
