Oolala Potato Chips Black Truffle & Olive Oil
Taste test: These potato chips sure sounded fancy, boasting truffle and olive oil ingredients, plus the Oolala name. I opened the bag to find chips of various shapes, some fairly flat and some wiggly, with many large bubbles embedded inside. They had a light yellow color generally, plus some areas of browning and darker skin areas on the edges.
I crunched in to find a brittle crunch and a strong truffle flavor that mixed well with the potato and salt. I'm no connoisseur of truffles, but I did like the taste.

Smell test: Definitely different from regular potato chips, and not just like olive oil, so I guess it's the truffle.
From the package: “Premium ingredients” ... “Fruit of the earth chips cooked and naturally infused with delicate spices” ... “We start with the best spuds we can find locally in season. The French call them 'Pommes de terre', which signifies 'Apples of the Earth'. We treat them accordingly, drizzling them with naturally infused subtle premium ingredients, spices, herbs, or simply fine sea salt crystals. If one taste is worth a thousand words and one word can capture the most delicate of taste, then you are about to find out what we call Oolala!”
