Taste test: These chips followed a similar formula to the nacho cheese flavor, combing chicken with corn to form the chips, with a fairly smooth surfaces with a mustard yellow colors, formed into triangles. In this case, there was a bit of dark seasoning on the yellow surfaces rather than the white of the nacho kind, but still the visible seasoning was minimal.
I crunched in to find not much of a salsa flavor at first, with the corn and chicken flavor sufficiently strong that the seasoning wasn't all that noticeable. I did notice a bit of a zesty tomato flavor in the aftertaste and on subsequent bites, but it was far less intense than many salsa-flavored potato chips we've eaten.
We shared these with a bunch of snackers, and several of them compared the taste to bullion cubes. Most people enjoyed the chips, but some were not big fans.
