Taste test: These snacks were purportedly a non-pork snack similar to a pork rind, but like the Espesyal Suka't Sili flavor from Jack 'n Jill, this Sukang Paombong flavor wasn't much like pork rinds. They didn't look much like pork rinds, as they had shapes that weren't quite so irregular and didn't have the airy look of pork rinds. The pieces were cut into squares but were curled up into shapes resembling partial tubes, each one averaging about a third of a tube's curvature.
We crunched in to find a soft crunch and moist feel, with a great flavor, kind of a mix of onion and garlic (and nothing like pork rinds). Very tasty!
