Taste test: These potato chips had various shades of golden yellow and orange, with somewhat wiggly shapes, lots of skin around the edges and a high density of seasoning bits on the surfaces.
We crunched in to find a loud, crisp crunch and a whole lot of flavoring, with a fairly mild sweet barbecue taste overall, mixing pretty well with the potato. I noticed a hint of something that was kind of startling, finally realizing that it was the promised cherry (the ingredients list Cherry Flake as the final ingredient). I'm not generally a fan of the taste of cherries, so it threw me off a bit every time I tasted some. But if you like cherries, this is your rare chance to get some in a flavored potato chip.
Smell test: Mild sweet barbecue smell.
