Taste test: This flavor of Doritos, not to be confused with (un-original) Taco, had a slightly darker coloration than the standard Doritos, with less of the bright orange/yellow powder and a slight brownishness instead.
The amount of taco powder varied a lot from one chip to the next, but even the stronger chips had a very subdued taco taste. There were some very mild spices in there, and they were balanced out by the various cheeses and sour cream. So it didn't have any of the kick of taco powder, but the taste was slightly taco-like and pretty good.

Smell test: Nice mild and cheesy taco smell. Could definitely smell some sour cream in there too.
