Chispas Latin Style Snacks Salsa Sticks
Taste test: These hollow tubes looked round at first, but upon closer examination they actually had a hexagonal profile, and they had quite a bit of red-orange seasoning on their surfaces. Each was about three inches long.
I crunched in to find a strong crunch and a fairly spicy taste, like a hot salsa. They definitely had more crunch than your typical snack fries, and after checking the ingredients, I found that they weren't made from just potato (though it was still the first ingredient) but also wheat and rice, which may have accounted for the stronger crunch. But with the higher crunch, they lost some of the nice crispness and softness that all-potato snacks tend to have. Still, tasty and good.
