Cape Cod Kettle Cooked Potato Chips Aged White Cheddar & Sour Cream
Taste test: These potato chips had wiggly shapes and a light yellow color, with a bit of whitish powder on the surfaces. There were some bubbles embedded into the chips, plus some darkish skin on parts of the edges.
We crunched in to find a brittle crunch that was on the loud side, with lots of intense cheese and sour cream flavor. The taste had a sweet edge to it, though it didn't taste sugary. The cheese and sour cream taste went away by the time the aftertaste arrived, so there was lots of rich potato to taste at that point. When we shared these around among a group of snackers, people munched through handfuls very quickly, and then came back for more as they smiled and praised the taste. Very good chips!

Smell test: Fairly strong kick of sour cream.
From the package: “If you love the full, sharp taste of aged white cheddar cheese, you'll love it even more with of a hint of sour cream. It's a rich, satisfying combination that's the perfect compliment [sic] to the hearty crunch and robust potato flavor of our kettle cooked chips.”
