Taste test: These potato chips came in generally smallish, wiggly pieces, with various shades of golden yellow on the surfaces. It felt like the surfaces had lots of seasoning, but most of the seasoning blended into the color of the chips, with the exception of a tiny amount of green specks.
We crunched in to find a harder crunch than expected on some of the chips — the feel was fairly crisp but not quite as good as many kinds of kettle-cooked chips (nor as good as the texture we've come to expect from Cape Cod). The taste was quite good, with a very tasty mix of cheese and herbs.
Smell test: Lots of cheese, lots of herbs. Really nice.
From the package: “The perfect combination. Blending rich Asiago cheese with light Italian herbs creates a savory combination you'll enjoy the first chip to the last. We blend herbs like basil and rosemary with creamy aged Asiago cheese and a touch of garlic for a taste you'll simply crave.” ... “Home of Ridiculously Good Chips.®”
