Burger King Hot Fries
Taste test: These fries had the same shape as the Burger King Cheesy Fries, which is to say that neither one much resembled actual Burger King fries, as they were more like the various veggie potato stick snacks, with a much blander texture than I would want from a Burger King product.
The actual fries were beige and had just the slightest amount of orange seasoning, so they looked completely different from the ones pictured on the bag. Because of the lack of color, I didn't expect much heat. I was wrong, as there actually was a good kick of delayed heat, but the taste was not particularly good. These were probably the worst of all the hot fries we've reviewed. The Burger King line of snacks started out with great promise when they introduced Ketchup & Fries, Flame Broiled snacks, Onion Rings and French Toast Sticks but the recent additions have gone downhill, as they lost some texture points with the Cheesy Fries and then really hit rock-bottom with the same texture and even worse taste of these hot fries.
