BuddyFruits Fuji Apples
Taste test: This bag contained smallish, wiggly slices of apple with a light orange/beige color, except for the skin parts, which were kind of a dull gray/light red.
The bag promised that the chips would be really crunchy, but when I bit in, I found that they most definitely were not. They had a soft, bendable, mushy feel. They did taste like apples, though a bit less intensely so than actual fresh apples. Not a bad taste, but if the chips can't deliver the crunchy texture, why not just eat an actual apple — a good one is far crunchier than these dry chips.
We shared the bag with some snackers, and a few people went out to their way to say that they liked the taste, but nobody could detect anything resembling crunch.

Smell test: Strong apple smell.
From the package: “4 apples inside!” ... “100% apple chips” ... “Only Apples Simply Baked Never Fried” .... “Fat free” ... “Gluten free” ... “Really crunchy” ... “This bag contains nothing more & nothing less than 4 wholesome Fuji apples. To ensure maximum quality, our apples are always hand picked! We select them at the peak of ripeness to maintain maximum flavor! Then the process is very simple: We just slice them, bake them in our traditional ovens, and Voila!”
