Bountiful Harvest Multigrain Chips Sea Salt
Taste test: It’s an Attack of the Clones, but with 100% less Jar Jar! These chips looked to be a Sun Chips clone, based on the general description and the picture on the bag. We opened it to find the same general shape of chips and a comparable color, but with a thicker cut.
I crunched in to find a good crisp feel, but thicker and less dense than SunChips, sort of a cross between a puff and a chip (but closer to chip). The salt level was fairly low (the Ingredients showed more sugar than salt) but the flavor level increased as I let the salt pile up by eating multiple chips in a row. Not bad, but I’d prefer real Sun Chips to these — yet these had a big cost advantage, at just $1 for the 3-oz. bag.
