Taste test: These triangular chips were dark beige in color (a bit darker than pictured on the bag) with many darker bits of bean or rice embedded inside, plus some crushed black pepper on their surfaces.
They were crisp, had a light crunch and tasted good. The main flavor was a fairly mild black pepper, but we could taste the underlying chip as well, and though it apparently contained beans and rice, it didn't feel or taste all that different from a corn tortilla chip. The black pepper stuck around for a while in the aftertaste. Our tasters liked these.
