Taste test: These candies looked somewhat like regular Sugar Babies, with similar irregular shapes, but their exteriors were quite different, with a lot of small beige bits of something (presumably providing the crunch) embedded inside the dark brown exterior.
We bit in to find that the texture was slightly different from Sugar Babies, as the caramel bits did add something that could be felt, but the promised "crunch" was very, very minor. Not really a crunch. The taste was pretty good, with a mild caramel flavor, but it was nothing I'd go out of my way to buy.
