Taste test: This version of Skittles came in two colors/flavors per piece, with one for the shell and another for the interior.
Based on the bag, I was expecting extremely bright colors, but the real ones were a bit more muted than in the illustration. The interior colors are kind of irrelevant, because Skittles aren't a snack that you can easily consume just part of, then look at the inside. The flavor combinations were Mango Peach/Cherry Lemonade, Strawberry/Watermelon, Melon/Berry and Blue Raspberry/Lemon. It's been years since I've eaten Skittles of any kind, and I was very favorably impressed as I was reintroduced to them with this bag. Chewing these didn't seem nearly as likely to pull the teeth out of my mouth as I remembered when eating Skittles as a kid. And the taste was quite good, with a real fruit taste, different for each type, not just a sugary candy fake-fruit taste.
