Taste test: I've long been a fan of Buncha Crunch, and indeed some years ago, I might have suffered from a mild addiction. There's something about the smallish, irregularly shaped lumps of Nestle chocolate that just makes it hard to stop popping handful after handful into the mouth.
Having said that, prior to this mix, I hadn't eaten Buncha Crunch in many years.
I opened the tall, thin bag to find that the Buncha Crunch pieces constituted a relatively small portion of the mix. They had to shape space with tiny square chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate chips (officially called "Toll House® Premier White Morsels") and peanuts. The Buncha Crunch and cookies brought some of the namesake crunch to the mix, while the white chocolate chip and peanuts lacked crunch. It was a pretty good mix, but as with many similar mixes, it fell flat when it came to the peanuts. Peanuts are great on their own, especially when properly salted, but when you put them in a mix like this without even any salt, they were really lacking in flavor compared to everything else.
