Taste test: This box contained two different colors of Mike and Ikes, matching two of the most common cotton candy colors, pink and blue. The pink ones looked much like the illustration on the front of the package, but the blue ones were quite bit darker than the powder blue ones pictured, as they were almost teal blue.

I bit in to find the usual Mike and Ikes texture, with flavors that pretty well matched the corresponding colors of cotton candy. If you really like the taste of cotton candy, that would be a pretty good taste. Does anyone? Personally, the main appeal of cotton candy is the texture, as you can play with it in its fluffy state, mush it up unto denser clumps, and best of all, feel it melt in your mouth. This candy didn't allow any of that stuff, as it just simulated the taste. And since the appeal of cotton candy is not the taste, that seemed a bit pointless. Buy anyway, not a bad taste.
