Taste test: This version of Kit Kat had the original four-finger format, with the coated wafers showing an external color that was off-white, similar to many white chocolate bars, but the surface color was somewhat textured, with many tiny chunks of stuff (perhaps apple) inside it.
I bit in to find a soft crunch from the wafer inside and a whole lot of sweetness from the coating. It seemed way more like white chocolate than apple pie on the first bite, but it got closer to the intended flavor after that, though it seemed more like an apple cinnamon something than a spot-on apple pie. Maybe a bit too sweet, but generally OK.
