Tabasco Jelly Beans
Taste test: Jelly Belly put in a nice effort with the packaging here, as they made a special container shaped like a jar of Tabasco to hold these hot beans. The only negative was that the jar was shrink-wrapped, and the shrink-wrap was very tough to get off.
Once I got it open and flipped the lid, I tried just one bean and found that the taste was quite a bit hotter than I expected! I'll take the blame for that, as I for some reason expected it to taste mostly like a jelly bean. It really did taste primarily like Tabasco. Yeah, there was some sugar too, but it was fairly hot and was a great match for the flavor of Tabasco.
