Golden Lion Waterchestnut Candy
Taste test: This candy kind of resembled Golden Lion's Ginger Candy, with sugary-looking, white and yellow surfaces, but with different shapes. The pieces varied in size and shape, but they were fairly large, generally round-ish and fairly thick.
I bit in to find a fairly soft feel and a sweet, fruity flavor that kind of reminded me of pineapple, but I didn't like it as much as pineapple. Or maybe, I liked it as much as overly sweetened pineapple, which I don't like, because extra sugar really isn't necessary. We shared these around, and most people couldn't eat very much (far less than one piece). One person who said she likes water chestnuts didn't like this. But a one guy liked it a lot, finishing his piece and coming back for seconds.
