Curious George Fruit Flavored Snacks

Taste test: This gummy snack based on the popular book series, movies and TV shows had six 90-calorie packs in the box. The gummies were supposed to come in five different shapes: George's face, George standing up, George sitting down, George hiding under the yellow hat and a cluster of bananas. The shapes looked pretty good, with a reasonable level of detail. There wasn't a one-to-one connection between shape and color, as particular shapes corresponded to multiple colors. One of the packs also had a small piece (see above, left) in a random shape that didn't seem to correspond to anything Curious George.

I bit in to find a soft, chewy consistency and a pretty good fruit taste, with the different colors actually corresponding to different flavors — grape, orange, banana and banana, at least were fairly obvious. The gummies really stuck t my teeth quite a lot, but otherwise, they were pretty good.

Smell test: Smells like grape juice.

From the package: “See it on PBS Kids” ... “100% daily value Vitamin C per serving” ... “Curious George has gone and lost all his bananas! Can you help Curious George find them again? There are 20 bananas hidden throughout this picture.”
