Taste test: It was a bit tough to break off sections of this candy bar cleanly, and this is one of those bars where doing so is critical, because if you don't get a clean break, you risk breaching one of the caramel holding areas and making a mess of liquidy caramel.
Even when I did break off a section as cleanly as appeared possible, it usually created a string of caramel between the sections, so the caramel cavities might not have been aligned properly with the section breaks. Be prepared to have a caramel mess on your hands. The caramel milk chocolate had a distinctive taste that was quite a bit different from most American milk chocolates, and I'm not sure it goes that well with caramel. Although I normally love the mixture of milk chocolate and caramel and have good memories of eating Carmello bars in the past, I really wasn't that thrilled with this one.
