Red Sox at City of Palms ParkMore Florida Spring Training Stadiums Location: 2201 Edison Ave, Fort Myers Our thoughts: This stadium is the Spring Training home to the Boston Red Sox for the months of February and March, and as with games at Fenway, tickets can be hard to come by. It's a fan-friendly stadium, with the seating areas very close to the action, and plenty of opportunities for fans to get autographs from the players. The park lives up to the City of Palms name, as there's a long line of palm trees located just behind the outfield wall. On the third base side of these infield, there's a Dugout Seats area (just past the home dugout) that lives up to its name, as it is indeed dug out below the field. In right field, there's a Right FIeld Deck area that takes some cues from the Monster Seats at Fenway, with similar round seats and a table shelf. In the Florida version, there's sort of a tiki bar right behind these seats. If you want to save some money or just like sitting in the grass, there's a general-admission lawn seating on the first base side. If you can't get Red Sox tickets for a game here, try for one of their road games vs. the Twins (barely a road game, as Hammond STadium is also in Fort Myers) or Rays (to the north in Port Charlotte). Tip: Parking is tight and expensive in the area around the stadium, but you can save a few dollars by opting to park at one of the business or churches that offer their spaces for less than the official lots.
