Leonard Zakim Bunker Hill BridgeLocation: Interstate 93 connecting Boston to Charlestown Our thoughts: Most people in Boston are no longer that upbeat on Boston's massively expensive Big Dig project, but just about everyone loves to look at the Zakim Bridge, so it's fast becoming the new symbol of Boston. Interstate 93 spans the Charles River on this bridge, right before the road heads underground into the Liberty Tunnel. With two inverted-Y towers shaped like the nearby Bunker Hill Monument on top, and cables connecting the towers to the roadway, this bridge sure looks cool. Tip: The name's a bit long, so people are starting to just call it the Zakim.
