Bellagio Hotel & Casino (Las Vegas)Location: 3600 South Las Vegas Blvd. Our thoughts: The Bellagio oozes luxury. While most of the other hotels on the Strip feature thrill rides and shopping malls, the Bellagio features a multi-million-dollar art museum - and an upscale shopping mall, home to stores such as Prada, Gucci, Dior, Armani and other places where you won't find dice with your name on them (don't bother trying to find the food court). This is not the hotel of choice for bargain hunters, as there are few to be found. The Bellagio is a hotel for the rich, whales and anyone who really wants to pamper themself. The rooms are large and the restaurants gourmet. It is one of the true luxury hotels in Las Vegas, and as such out of the budget of most tourists. However, if you hit big at that progressive slot machine, book yourself a room at the Bellagio and enjoy your newfound wealth. If you are staying at a different hotel, visit the Bellagio anyway. You can walk around the lobby, visit the conservatory (it's free, and usually decorated based on the season you're there), or just walk around the casino and watch people bet large sums of money at the tables. Tip: If you enjoyed the "Ocean's 11" remake, visit the Bellagio, much of it was filmed there.
