Danny Gans (Las Vegas)Location: Mirage Hotel, 3400 S. Las Vegas Blvd Our thoughts: Anyone we've ever talked to about impressionist Danny Gans's show is effusive in their praise. He's even been named "Showman of the Year" about 27 times by the Las Vegas show critics, so you would think his show would be great, right? Wrong. It sucks. Gans is a decent singer and his band is good. But everyone comes to see his impressions, which while excellent are about 10 years out of date. Why is the guy still doing Forrest Gump and Reagan impressions? What's worse, he tells you who he's doing before he does them, kinda defeating the purpose of an impressionist, in our opinion. We've never felt more mad or jipped leaving a $100-per-seat show than we did after Gans. Avoid it like the plague. Tip: A crooked craps table is more fun — and a better deal for your money.
