Desert Passage Shops (Las Vegas)Location: Aladdin Hotel and Casino Our thoughts: The Desert Passage Shops has to be one of the largest hotel malls on the Strip, probably second to Caesar's Palace. It features pretty much the same mid-priced shops you'll see at the other hotel malls, just more of them. And you're more likely to be able to afford something at the Desert Passage Shops than at those at Caesar's or the Venetian. The shops' attraction is a man-made thunderstorm, which isn't terrifically impressive or worth the visit on its own. Yet if you're in the shops and hear rain, stop for a minute and check it out. Tip: Wear comfortable shoes, there's a lot of ground to cover.
