ESPNZone Las Vegas (Las Vegas)Location: New York - New York Hotel Our thoughts: This is another in the somewhat-long list of ESPN-themed restaurants, and the Las Vegas one doesn't disappoint. In the "Screening Room" area is a full row of the giant recliner seats where you can recline and watch the action on the big set of jumbo-sized TV screens and all the different sports feeds. If you're not lucky enough to get one of the recliner seats, still grab a table in the Screening Room so you can watch all of the different sports shows. The food is typical chain-restaurant quality, and they have huge portions, so unless you're with a crowd you might want to skip the appetizers. Every time I go I get the sliders, basically six mini-cheeseburgers with fixins. After your meal is done, take some time to head to the upper level where you can play a bunch of sports-related video games or other activities (such as shooting hoops, bowling or climbing a rock wall). And the t-shirt store is worth it for a quick look to see if there are any cool ESPN-related clothing options. If you head there when there's any big sporting event, make sure you get there early (like, hours earlier), as there is usually a big, big line of people waiting to watch sports. Tip: Head for a late lunch and catch Pardon the Interruption at 2:30 p.m. (west coast time). No crowds, and you can get one of the recliner seats.
