Pirate's Punch Fruit Punch Flavored Apple SauceBuy snacks at Amazon.com Taste: This package contained six individual 4-oz. cups of apple sauce, each enhanced with special coloring, sugar and flavoring. It seems kind of strange to add that stuff to apple sauce, as it's generally quite flavorful and sweet, so there's no need to fancy it up. But I guess if they're going to give apple sauce a Scooby-Doo theme and aim it at kids, that's what they do. The apple sauce had a reddish orange color to it and a very smooth consistency, not watery but not chunky either. It did taste a little different than regular apple sauce, but the taste didn't remind me of fruit punch at all. I thought it was going to be over-the-top sweet because of the added sugar, but it was not. The inside of the cardboard package had four small Scooby-Doo stickers. If not for the highly valued stickers, I would just get the regular apple sauce, as the taste didn't stand out as being all that different.
