Cadbury Crunchie Blast

Cadbury Crunchie Blast

Buy Nestle candy at Amazon.com

Taste: This was one of the most innovative and oddest candy bars I've ever tried. Inside the chocolate coating, the small bar seemed to contain four things: bits of the same honeycomb that you would expect from a Crunchie; Rice Krispies; Pop Rocks; and milk chocolate holding the first three things together. Upon biting in, there was a good crunch, a lot of crunchy chocolate taste and maybe even a little toffee taste. But a few seconds after that, as the chewed up bite of bar dispersed around my mouth, I could hear tiny popping noises that seemed to be coming from all over my head. I couldn't really feel the pops, but I could hear them, and since they were coming from inside my mouth, I couldn't pinpoint where exactly they're coming from. Pretty cool. The feeling, combined with the good chocolate taste of the bar, had me very impressed.

Aroma: Mild chocolate smell, nothing special.
