Taste: These cheese crackers didn't have a ton of jalapeño taste at first, but they did taste very good, in fact quite a bit better than the regular Cheese Nips. After eating several of them, I did feel a tasty heat, reasonably hot, but far from extremely hot. There wasn't much jalapeño taste to the heat. Some people didn't notice any jalapeño at all, others tasted just the slightest bit. But regardless of whether it actually tasted like jalapeño peppers, the hot additive to these definitely did enhance the flavor.
