Sara Lee Cheese Topped Crumb Cakes

Sara Lee Cheese Topped Crumb Cakes

Taste: These round snack cakes came individually wrapped with the Sara Lee logo repeated many times on each clear wrapper, with a bumpy cake top that was colored a bit more lightly than the golden yellow around the perimeter. I bit in to find a nice soft cake feel, fairly dense but still a reasonably light texture. I couldn't taste the cheese on every single bite, but it was easy to notice when I did, as it was quite sweet and tasty. The rest of the cake was no slouch either when it came to taste, as it was quite flavorful and sweet. At about 3 inches in diameter and an inch thick, each cake was filling enough to make a good satisfying snack.

Aroma: Kind of a typical cake smell, with maybe a hint of cheese.
