Sara Lee Buttery Sunshine Cakes
Taste: These snack cakes had one of the happiest names we've heard in a while. Buttery Sunshine? Were they named by the same guy who came up with Happy Fun Ball? Anyway, the box was long and narrow and contained six individually wrapped cakes. The round, golden yellow cakes were shaped sort of like short muffins or muffin tops, about three inches in diameter and about an inch thick, just slightly wider on top than at the bottom. We bit into our first one to find that they were much softer than typical muffins, with the softness of a Twinkie-type cake. They also tasted a lot like Twinkies, but without any sort of filling. It was hard to resist eating more than one. Pretty good!
