Buy snacks at Amazon.com Taste: At first glance, these snack cakes looked a lot like baseballs, as the hemisheperical cakes were white and even had red baseball stitching. I didn't notice until I was about to open it that the red baseball seams were actually printed onto the cellophane wrapper and not part of the snack. Just feeling the package, I noticed was that the exterior texture was amazingly spongy. I opened it and pulled one of the Fastballs off of the cardboard bottom, then bit right in to find that underneath all that white, that interior was sort of a brownish gingerbread-like cake, with a creamy white filling in the center. The outside seemed to consist of sort of a white gelatin layer covered with coconut. I'm not the biggest fan of coconut in the world, but I was still surprised by how much I liked the taste of this. The textures of the white parts seemed a bit odd, as both the cream filling and the while exterior seemed just a little bit artificially stiff, but I still liked the taste a lot.
