Taste: These pretzels promised to be thick and very crunchy, with some major hype on the bag. We opened it to find that pieces were indeed quite thick, with a light tan color and many big chunks of salt on the surfaces. The back of the bag encouraged eaters to smash the pretzels into smaller pieces before eating, but most of them came somewhat pre-smashed — there was only one fully intact knotted pretzel in the bag, as the others were broken in various smaller pieces, most of them still quite substantial.

We crunched in to find that there was indeed a very strong crunch, thankfully not so strong as to break any teeth, but quite satisfying, with an excellent salty pretzel taste. Great! When we shared the bag around, some people were surprised by the hard crunch, as many snackers tend to jump right in without reading the bag.
