 | | | Nutten But Nuts Premium Gourmet Peanuts Bhut Jolokia With Red Savina HabaneraTaste: This small bag contained fairly large peanuts, generally lightly coated with a dark-colored seasoning. Some of the nuts had the dark peanut skin attached, while others didn't. Upon biting in, the first impression was a good peanut taste, as the habanero heat was delayed by a few seconds. After initially being underwhelmed by the promise of massive heat, the typical reaction of our tasters then was, "Oh, it really is very hot" as there was quite a kick of heat in the aftertaste. It wasn't the hottest snack we've ever eaten, but it was definitely hot, though the warnings on the package might have been a bit overblown. The heat was less jarring as our tasters went back for seconds and thirds, but it was still fairly hot, and it did a good job of clearing out the sinuses. Aroma: Good seasoned peanuts smell, but no extreme heat.
