Taste: The shelled aspect of these pistachios seemed to interfere with the habañero flavoring, as most of the habañero was on the outside of the shells, rather than on the pistachio nut inside. Licking the shells (before breaking them open to get the nut inside) brought a decent kick of spicy habanero flavor, but eating just the nut had a much more subtle habañero flavor — still tasty, but not much of a hot habanero flavor.
