 | | | Nana's Sunflower CookieBuy Nana's Cookies at Amazon.com Taste: This large, thick cookie contained more oats than sunflower seeds, with raisins outweighing the sunflower seeds as well, according to the ingredients. So it might best be described as an oatmeal raisin cookie with sunflower seeds. On the first bite, taste was kind of bland and the feel was gritty and dry, as it was like an extra-plain, not-sweet-enough oatmeal cookie. It got a little sweeter on the second bite, but not in a good way, as it was kind of an icky sweetness. I did feel a little extra crunch when my teeth hit a sunflower seed, but I didn't notice the overall taste being altered by the seeds. The best bites were the ones that included raisins, but most bites were just so bland that I didn't like this cookie much, and I didn't even come close to finishing it. "Fruit juice sweetened" ... "No refined sugar" ... "No eggs • No dairy" ... "This cookie has a hint of maple flavor the the delightful crunch of sunflower seeds. A little less sweet, but every bite is delicious."
