Taste: These sugar wafers were light beige in color with a white center. The package contained 3 sheets that had been cut up into 10 pieces each. Normally I might try a bunch of these, but after reading the laxative warning on the package, I decided to limit myself to just one wafer, or 1/3 of the recommended serving size. The wafer was crisp with a soft crunch, and the filling of the non-sugar wafers was did indeed taste sugary. So the taste was good, but I would much rather eat something with real sugar, so that I don't have to worry about what might happen if I eat a whole bunch of them.
