Happy Happy Choco-Chip Cookies
Taste: These cookies were different from the chocolate/vanilla and strawberry/vanilla sandwich cookies sold under the Happy Happy label, because they were not sandwich cookies — and they were also quite different from your typical chocolate chip cookies.
The thin, round cookies were smooth on one side and rippled like potato chips on the other, much like the ones used in those sandwich versions. Each piece had some tiny bits of chocolate embedded inside, far smaller than your typical chocolate chips. There were a lot more individual pieces in the package than there were for the larger sandwich versions.
I crunched in to find that they tasted pretty good, with a taste not unlike your average chocolate chip cookie, which was surprising, considering the looks were so different. They were nothing spectacular, as good chocolate chip cookies typically aren't store-bought anyway, but they were pretty decent. Good with cold milk!
