Buy Pringles at Amazon.com Taste: This version of Pringles had the usual shape but a much different appearance, as the surface had an overall beige look made from a mix of different colors, similar to the look of a tortilla chip. When I crunched in, I found the texture to be very soft, with an even less pronounced crunch than regular Pringles. There was a huge variation in taste depending on which side of the crisp faced the tongue. There was some salt and maybe additional seasonings on the convex side that really brought out a nice wheat cracker sort of flavor, but the concave side was quite bland, with hardly any flavor at all.
