The Chip Gourmet Microwavable Crunchy Chips Sea Salt

Buy potato chips at Amazon.com

Taste: This small bag contained flat potato chips with a fairly thick cut, and the instructions said to cook the bag in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds. I tried my first ones right out of the bag, without the extra cooking, and for the second bag, I followed the directions. The tastes of the two preparation methods weren't a whole lot different. The un-microwaved ones were flat with a thick cut, fairly crisp, still tasted like potato chips that had been cooked, potatoey and mildly salty, tasty but unremarkable. The ones that I microwaved were the same, except slightly warm. Didn't notice the salt to be particularly sea salty. There are lots of potato chips that taste great, even with no special microwave gimmick. These, however, were pretty average, with or without it.

Aroma: Just a mild potato chips smell.
