Guiltless Gourmet Spinach Artichoke Parmesan Tortilla Chips

Buy snacks at Amazon.com

Taste: These seemed like a promising new flavor of tortilla chip, as they offered two kinds of veggies plus cheese. The chips were triangular and pale yellow in color, with some greenish spots. When I crunched in, I found that the chips were seasoned fairly heavily, and the seasoning was tasty. However, the underlying chips suffered from the same problem as the other Guiltless Gourmet chips, as they had a very flat crunch and no crispness whatsoever. All in all, that made for an eating experience that was not particularly good, and most of our tasters didn't like these.

Aroma: Nice tangy veggies and cheese smell.

From the package:

"Made with certified organic corn" ... "So how can these chips be good for me? Guiltless Gourmet Tortilla Chips are baked, not fried. We add just enough oil to make them crisp and help the natural flavors stick. The result is a Crispier Crunch with only 3 grams of fat per serving. Stone Grinding uses the whole corn kernel, so each helping is packed with complex carbohydrates and 2 grams of fiber. By the way, you get 18 big chips per serving, which is plenty to satisfy your crunchy craving with guiltless indulgence."
