Buy snacks at Amazon.com Taste: The taste of these chips was a surprise, as we expected a fairly plain tortilla chip with some lime seasoning, but El Jinete took the word "zesty" quite seriously and added quite a bit of chile pepper seasoning in addition to the lime. The large, quarter-oval chips closely resembled the fresh chips that they make in Mexican restaurants, with a thick cut and lots of crunch. Many of the chips had bubbles in them. The flavor level varied significantly from chip to chip, and it was easy to see which ones had lots of seasoning. Tasty, crunchy and quite good.
