Chifles Plantain Chips Rippled

Buy snacks at Amazon.com

Taste: These chips brought the great innovation of ripples, long common among potato chips, to the world of plantain chips. It looked like they made a diagonal cut of the plantain when they sliced off the chips, as most of the chips were more elongated that your typical plantain cross-section. The great thing about these was that they definitely had more crunch than regular plantain chips. In terms of flavor, they were pretty much the same as the regular Chifles plantain chips, with a low level of salt and good plantain taste. Our tasters liked these chips, but there were a few comments that more salt might have helped.

Aroma: Strong plantain smell.
