Buffalo Nickel Wingers No Bull Barbecue

Buy snacks at Amazon.com

Taste: After some very negative experiences with the Fiery Buffalo Bleu version of Buffalo Nickel Wingers, our tasters groaned upon seeing this bag. In most ways, these were the exact same thing, made from processed potato and formed into a hollow drumette shape, but with a different flavor. This one rated 1 out of 5 on Buffalo Nickel's Heat Index scale, and indeed there was no heat. The taste was far better than the Buffalo Bleu version, but it was nothing particularly special, pretty average as barbecue chips go, but still a solid, perfectly edible snack. The odd thing about the stiff crunch was that when I held a piece outside my mouth and crunched into my first Winger from this bag, I could feel some of the flavor powder flying off the Winger in all directions at the moment when the crunch happened.

Aroma: Pretty good sweet and slightly smoky barbecue smell.

From the package:

"The original potato wing snack™" ... "No Bull Barbecue means mouth-watering, sweet and smoky barbecue flavor in an irresistible potato-wing shape. They may be a mild 1 on the Heat Index, but they're wild when it comes to flavor, fun and crunch."
