Michael Season's Baked Jalapeno Cheese Puffs

Buy snacks at Amazon.com

Taste: These cheese puffs were fairly thin and had a bright yellow color, with just a bit of orange to it and some darker spots of seasoning visible as well. (The puffs pictured on the bag were more orange than the actual ones in the bag, and the pictured ones also lacked the dark spots.) The great thing about most varieties of Michael Season's puffs is that they're positively loaded with cheese. While this kind had a nice kick of jalapeno flavoring mixed into the cheese, unfortunately there wasn't nearly as much cheese as those other types. It was still a pretty good mix of tastes, but nothing like the amazing Michael Season's curls and puffs that we're used to. The texture also didn't seem quite right, as these were a bit styrofoamy-like, not quite melt-in-your-mouth.

Aroma: Nice jalapeno and cheddar smell, like a spicy nacho dip.
