The Simpsons Fruit Snacks

The Simpsons Fruit Snacks

Taste: This box contained a clear plastic bag with gummy-style snacks, some of which were shaped remotely like cartoon versions of pieces of fruit. The closest ones were the purple ones shaped like bunch of grapes. Next closest were the orange ones that sort of looked like slices of orange, but other orange ones didn't look like much of anything. There were also some green ones and red ones that generally just looked like random blobs. Surprisingly, they all tasted pretty good, with a fruit juice sort of taste. All of the different kinds seemed to taste the same. None of the candies were shaped like anything Simpsons-related, and the only reason I bought these was on the assumption that they would be. So really, it was just a Simpsons box containing some non-Simpsons candy. How lame is that? Even if they didn't want to make the snacks shaped like Marge, Maggie, Bart and Lisa (Homer was conspicuously absent from the front of the box, he must've gone to Moe's) they could have used other fun Simpsons-related shapes. For example, an open-faced club sandwich, a Krusty Burger, or Poochie the Rockin' Dog. Next time they plan a Simpsons candy, they really should consult with me first.
