Taste test: It's another Brownie Brittle imitator! This kind came in large, square, thick pieces (some intact, some broken). It wasn't entirely clear from the package what they meant by "Triple Chocolate" but the marketing copy did mention two different types of chocolate (chunks and chips, each with a different chocolate percentage) that were presumably embedded inside, so the third kind was probably the dough.

The major difference between this and the other similar products was that it was vegan (and gluten-free too). My normal procedure for eating an intense chocolate snack is to have it with cold milk. I suppose this defeats the purpose of eating a vegan snack, but since I'm not a vegan, I did it anyway.

The pieces had a dark brown color, with a different shade of brown for the chocolate chips and chunks jutting out of the top. The distribution of chips and chunks varied by pieces, as some pieces had no chunks at all, just chips, while others were a mix. Overall, there were more chips than chunks. I crunched in to find a very solid crunch, a harder crunch than Brownie Brittle, and there was lots of intense chocolate flavor, pretty much a perfect match for the taste of a rich brownie. And that high level of chocolate did go quite well with my glass of cold milk!

Aroma: Rich chocolate smell, brownie-like.
